Zerihun is based in Addis Ababa where she works from her own studio making shoes using traditional techniques. She strives to create things that last long with most environmentally friendly materials available to her. Her shoe utilize recycled rubber that comes primarily from used car tyres. She uses new scrap fabric or leather which is a by products of the meat industry to make the upper of the shoe.
