The cover shows the book was published by Frederick Warne & Co and is there dated before they became a Ltd company in 1918. The inside print plates are identified by images in the centre which are not present on more recent copies.

All notable faults:
Spine is broken and 2nd photo shows this, corners are bumped, no tears on pages. Contents of book is in very good condition apart from a childs blue penned writing on the plain side of page 65. There is no selotape used and it has a book plate, dated in ink-JUNE 1911 awarded from LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL, WOOD STREET SCHOOL for regular attendance to Annie Amner
